Thanksgiving Weekend...

Friday, October 7th 2005: It's the end of yet another nerve-wracking, gruelling, "Engineering Student's Week"...and the beginning of the 3-day Thanksgiving Weekend. All people in my residence, including my roommate and good friends (namely: Dave, Sarah, Melissa, Lauren) are packing up to leave for home. I say goodbye to all...and prepare for three lazy days of very little to do. Oh, before that "very little to do" bit starts...I do my 7 hour shift of work till 2a.m. in the morning at the Student Union Building.

Saturday, October 8th 2005: I laze in bed all day watching movies downloaded off the college network, or simply sleeping. I have a convenient excuse for my idleness though - it's raining outside, and the wind here is biting cold when it rains. I saw: Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and the Fantastic Four. I write those in descending order of "goodness" - in my opinion, Fantastic Four sucked.

Sunday, October 9th 2005: Repeat of Saturday...except that I did my laundry. And in the evening, I babysitted Shawn's kids while he took Jenny out for a movie. All of them are adorable. The cutest line I heard was from Virginia (the youngest - her picture's somewhere in this blog), referring to the stuffed Turkey I had, she said "You ate that chicken with the gross stuff in it". You gotta love children's honesty, eh?!

Monday, October 10th 2005: That's actually right now, and it's 4:12 a.m at the moment. After getting back from Shawn's, I watched "The 40 Year Old Virgin" - hilarious, and I love the song at the end of that movie! Anyway, after that, I updated my other blog, Sane In An Insane World , and now I'm writing this. I have a very strong hunch that it's time I went to sleep ... so ... umm ... g'night.

In case you didn't notice: I updated the other blog,Sane In An Insane World ...with a piece about Epiphanies.
